About Quito
Quito, capital of Ecuador and home to inlingua's Quito Spanish program, has everything you need to ensure your stay is a unique experience. Many cultural as well as social activities are available ranging from clubs and bars to museums and art fairs.
In Quito, old meets new. Nestled in valleys, surrounded by the grandeur of the Andes and the luxury of the rainforest, Quito is a compelling blend of history, architecture, cuisine, art, people and legend. The climate is moderately cool throughout the year. In 1979, UNESCO declared Quito's historic centre a World Heritage Site, the first city in the world to receive the accolade. In 2004, the city continued to garner praise as the Cultural Capital of the Americas. Without doubt, it's the jewel in the crown of the city's attractions.
